For starters -- you came to the right place ...& it sounds like you found me -- in the nick of time!! Please don't give up -- it is not *hopeless* yet I can empathize with you & understand why you may feel that way. This is an area that challenges an untold amount of people & you are not alone by a long shot! Beating yourself up is the first place to cease & desist :)
Please go to the "Business Organizing" tab -- I believe you will find a delightful surprise under "Desktop Management" ! Just download the text in this area & then print it off for your personal use. I have written a step-by-step "recipe" for organizing the desk that many people have utilized with much success! Good luck & keep me apprised on your progress & I'd LOVE to hear of your "success story" too!
