: I have a closet full of gift wrap, mooshed bows & ribbons, plus 14 spare toasters from our wedding 5 yrs ago (just kidding). How do I organize it all?

Aloha Tonya...

Whewh!! Glad you were "kidding" about the toasters :)

As far as the giftwrap is concerned....there are some GREAT organizers with this in mind.

You might be interested in checking out one of the "Hot Picks" in the Library from last year:http://www.123sortit.com/resources/hotplib.html & select "Spring 1997" There is a product called "Pet Pockets" -- the same company produces an organizer for Gift Wrap that is made in a similar fashion - great design, well constructed & reasonably priced. All the contact info is listed on the page.

Now if you have *heaps* of gift wrap to organizer, Rubbermaid also makes a trimline container that will fit under your bed for this purpose. You can find it at your local Eagle Hardware store. I would suggest that you categorize your giftwrap & "label" the containers so you know immediately what the contents are as well (label 5 sides so you (or anyone else) can see it from any direction without creating a mess while searching for what you really need :)

Hope this helps ....& maybe you want to make a pact with yourself not to purchase anymore until you use what you have? Remember, even if it's on sale -- it's not such a great deal if you sacrafice desperately needed space in the process :)

Much Aloha,
