: : I just came across this list while desparately searching for some way to organize my craft room. I am fortunate to have an entire room but that's where it ends.

: : I have fabric, yarn, books and tons of other stuff that I have stacked in boxes. There is one small closet in the entire tiny house so I am left with 2 shelf units. One is 5 foot with 4 shelves and the other is a deep 4 foot high 3 shelf monster. I have a desk as well. I can't put up any shelves since it's a rental.

: : I guess my biggest question is, how to sort it all, catagorize it and then store it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

: Aloha Lea...

: Lea, are you on the mail list for the container store? If not give them a call: 800.733.3532

: They have the "runner basket" systems that may help you wonderfully. Come in a multitude of sizes AND you can get the plastic liners for the drawwers so nothing falls thru the holes. The systems are very well priced & the reason I like theirs best is because the ELFA system is the leader of the pack & guranteed for life. A lot of the others you see are facimiles & they do not last. (I've seen the ones some of my clients have purchased & they are already scratched ...once scratched the rusting sets in.

: You can also get dividers of all sorts for the "small pieces" for your crafts. Check out the catalog & let me know what you think!

: Much Aloha,
