Aloha llona ....
Uh-ohhhh, sounds like a bit of overwhelm here....
IIlona, unfortunately it is going to look worse before it gets better in the situation you described.
For starters I highly recommend people purge *before* a move -- it reduces what you take initially & provides more space in the long run.
You also stated you didn't label the boxes/bags ...this will make it a bit more tedious too.
Is there one room you can absolutely move everything aside in? At this stage of the game you need *space* to spread out much of the unmarked items. Ideally if you can create a space in *each* room for some items it will be very helpful! Then start emptying your bags/boxes & at least get "like items" in the general vicinity of where they need to be stored. Get 2 BIG boxes while you are at it & label it "Toss" & "Donate". If it's unusable -- get rid of it. If it's something you no longer need or want -- donate it.
The first step is definitely getting everything "grouped" as to where it will reside. The next step is unload all the closets that you stashed things in -- you need the space to start putting everything away.
Even though you don't have vacation time for another month or so -- you'd be surprised at how much you can accomplish in the sorting process by doing it 1 hr. a nite. I know you wiull live in chaos for a while -- yet come September you may even have time toi take a real vacation for a few days instead of unpacking the whole time.
Keep me posted -- & drop another message here if you get stuck!
Much Aloha,
