I just moved into a new apt. and combined my "things" with
the "possessions" of the person who moved in with me.
Since I am not entitled to any vacation on my job until the end
of September, I did things very quickly. And since there
is no storage space, everything I own is in shopping bags
on the floor of each room and everything else is just
stuffed into cabinets. Now I have to empty the cabinets
and refill them with what belongs there -- HOW DO I START?
I know I should have labelled all the cartons and bags,
but I didn't. Parts of the apt. aren't finished yet. I know
I can fill shoe bags (as soon as the closet doors are
up tomorrow), but the rest is completely overwhelming.
Should I just take a few bags and empty them and then
decide where they go? I also want to throw away lots of my
stuff (and hopefully lots of his stuff too). I just
need a starting place. Any helpful ideas would be greatly
appreciated.
