Whenever I go to my friends' homes, they always have nice, clean homes. Mine on the other hand is messy, messy, messy. One friend in particular has an extremely clean house, but I notice her kids don't play in the family room, the kitchen, the dining room, or even their bedrooms. They get upset if my kids take a toy out of the basket because "they're making a mess". These kids also sit in front of the tv a lot. Is this how we're supposed to get our homes clean is by ignoring the kids? What is a typical day like for moms with clean homes? My kids do like to have my help/attention during the day and by the time they go to bed I'm too exhausted to clean. I try to accomplish something so I feel as if I care about my home, but usually all I can do is the kitchen and the laundry. What can I (should I) do?
