I absolutely LOVE 123 Sort It !!!
My quest is to find a "reasonable" number of items that you should keep in your closet, kitchen, linen closet, etc.

For example: How many skirts/blazers does one need ? How many towels does one need ? How many long cutting knives does one need? Shorts? Sandal? Shoes? Belts? Socks?
I read somewhere that 2 towel for each member of the family plus 3 extra is sufficient.
So with trying to become the most organized person I know, I would love to have a set of 'standards' to live by that are reasonable. I tend to over do it on clothes so that is my main quest.
A friend of mine has in a ceramic jar (on her kitchen counter) 12 knives, 3 spatulas, 16 lg. spoons 2 wire whisks etc. That does not include what is in the drawers.

I posted to a fashion mag (figuring they would be able to help me) and got some not-so-nice remarks from people. I was shocked. They said what does it matter, if you can afford the clothes then don't worry about it.
Obviously they were the wrong people to ask. They love fashion, so the more the merrier for them.

But if anyone has any kind of guideline that they follow or know where I can research this info, I would be greatly appreciative.
Thank You.
