Every night before you go to bed you and your husband, and your daughter if possible spend 5 minutes each going around the house picking up bits and pieces. With the three of you doing it thats 1.5 hours of cleaning time extra per week!
Another idea is "Never Waste A Trip:. My mother used to say this to me all the time. What she means is if your going towards the laundry and see some socks lying on the floor take them to the laundry with you. Heading off to the bedroom, take your shoes with you.
