Aloha Teresa....
My apologies for a verrrry long absence from the BBS, yet I know you were in good hands w/the many visitors to this area. In particular I noticed a wonderful response from Kim. Unlike Kim, I am not familiar w/FM & hence wouldn't venture to "tell" someone what/how/when/where to do something.
What I would like to comment on Teresa is your "c.h.a.o.s" thoughts. Although you may be unhappy with your environment -- please remember something "I feel" is MOST important --- it's not *where* we live; *how* orderly our environment; or how *neat & organized* our homes are that creates friendships in our lives -- it's *who* we are within that counts most in the long haul :)
There is a saying for business people that work to much: "When it is time for me to leave this life, I will not contemplate how hard I coulda/shoulda/woulda worked ...it's how many people I shared my heart with." Translated for the home ...it's not how many drawers are neatly organized, or how systematized I ran the home -- it's how many friends I shared my home with.
One more last favorite I have heard over time:
Sign found at the doorbell:
"If you came to inspect my home -- call & make an appointment!
If you came to see "me" -- come right on in!"
Be gentle with yourself & just remember you are doing your best ;) And Kim's suggestion about getting someone in even 1x a month is a great idea. Just remember, you don't HAVE to do it ALONE !
Hope this helps!
Much Aloha,
Julie Signore - CEO
