Good question!
As far as lingerie is concerned, when using drawer organizers the compartments work real well when items are rolled. This alows you to see your selection in entirety as well as assisting you to keep it organized. Piling has drawbackbacks because inevitably you'll want the one on the bottom :)
Not sure if you got the organizer for panties. If so ...these work well when tri-folded. Once again allowing you to view your selection in entirety & avoid the need to grasp for something on the bottom.
