Aloha Donna,
GOOD FOR YOU!!! Glad to hear the "desk recipe" motivated you to feel free to toss what was no longer necessary :)
As far as your "recipe collection" is concerned....first off the "healthy eating" ideas can be a "positive" motivating factor -- so I agree KEEP them!
Yet, in order to switch over your habits it would be worthwhile to have them all in an organized fashion :)
My suggestion would be to invest in a binder & some plastic sleeves. Categorize the recipes based on entrees, vegies, snacks, desserts etc...
Use color paper & "tape or staple" the recipes directly onto the color paper (front & back) -- then place the paper in a plastic sleeve. Place the sleeve in the binder. Get yourself some of the "Avery Tabs" & create the individual sections for the "types" of food/meals for the binder. Go a step furthe & create an *index* in the front of the binder -- maybe a "color coded index" so you know Green is for vegies; yellow = snack; blue = entrees etc....
Now you have an easy to access means to "eat healthy" PLUS when you take the binder out to prepare the recipes -- each one can withstand the prep time in the kitchen due to being protected in the plastic sleeve!
Hope this helps!
Much Aloha,
