Good for you for balancing your new baby with getting organized. Sometimes there are more important things to attend to :)
As far as the mags are concerned, 2 areas that come to mind are:
1) Dr. Offices
2) Schools
Depending on the *age* of the mags -- the Drs. may not want them ...yet the schools wouldn't even pay attention to the dates. Many teachers utilize this type of resource for art projects of all sorts. The kids create collages, picture stories etc... Actually another area to check is any daycare centers too. I hear you about not wanting to toss them -- does your area recycle mags if the 2 above areas don't work out???
