I agree, the key is to set a rule that one two or three items will be allowed on the desk and then stick to it!! It's alot easier to clean up 3-4 items, than 30-40 items. I have a daily routine to clean it up before I go to bed and then every Monday really go through papers, etc. to keep the influx down. I also try to always pick up fresh flowers at the grocer when I buy groceries, because a desk always looks better with flowers when it's clean, and it motivates me to keep it that way. The 5-10 dollars for flowers is worth it, they last a week or two , and I notice when they start to fade, so does my neatness, so off I go and get new flowers!!!! Take Care!
