Thanks for your response, I had kind of given it up, and was pleasantly surprised while checking into my favorite sites this morning. I think we will go with the extra can.......They hold about 4 35gallon bags, or 8 20 gallon bags....thanks again!

: Chris, the large garbage cans can take *more* than one bag. For example my basket in the kitchen takes 20 gallon bags -- I can get 4-5 of them in my outside garbage can. The garbage can measures: 3’ (h) with a 6’ circumference. Also it is on wheels, so moving it to where I need to is easy!

: Also, I believe you are on the right track with enlisting the help from hubby & son. And for $12/mo. You may find that it is REALLY worth it for the cans the city provides!
