I recently discovered this site and love it. I have always been considered an organized person by myself and those around me - until a couple of years ago when we bought our house and moved three states away from all our family and friends. When we pulled up the old carpet to install new, we found water damage in front of every door and sliding glass door. Now, every room in this house is under some sort of reconstruction, some more severe than others. My problem is trying to keep the house clean and organized when I don't have anyplace to put anything.I'm still sidestepping unpacked boxes. I am overwhelmed by trying to keep the house straightened up (it lasts a day or two if I'm really lucky), working on the remodeling and keeping up with a 2 and a 4 year old - not to mention the tons of junk and paper clutter my ever-reading husband leaves lying around. We have great plans for building in book shelves, completely remodeling the kitchen, turning a tiny junk infested room into an office/pantry area, but that all takes more time and money than we seem to have right now. So, how do I keep my head above water and accomplish something while doggy paddling through the days of one interruption after another? Any suggestions or encouragement would be a blessing.
