FSS is an epidemic, so don't feel like you're alone! One tip that really helped me was to realize that even ONE object sitting on a counter can magnetically attract other objects to come sit beside it, and the next thing you know, they are having a convention! Therefore, I have discovered I can't have even one object sitting on the counters. This was hard to get used to, but it is so much easier to put away ONE item than it is to clear a pile--I get too distracted and muddled. ADD people like me need clean, clear visual paths to function better. This one tip has substantially improved my life!
