: How do I find out which is best for my husband and myself? We've used the Franklin-Covey system for several years...and are wondering if a Palm Pilot would be more efficient...plus we wouldn't have planner pages to stare! Any feed back from Palm Pilot or similar systems users?

Hi Catherine!
I've used Franklin planners for years myself, but have basically switched over to a Palm Pilot. There are several advantages that I can see. When you and your husband need to get your calendars synched up, (if you get the one with this feature) all you need to do is beam it to each other via the infrared beam feature. Also, you have all your info from the Palm Pilot on your main PC in just minutes (sometimes seconds.) Another feature I like is that you can mark things private and password protect them. This is great if you lose it or leave it laying around and don't want anyone checking out your personal stuff. On the other hand, I do write a lot so I miss that feature of the Franklin. But, there's a combination type Franklin binder that has a spot for the Palm Pilot yet has binder pages. That might work as a happy medium for you.
