When storing the maps -- put them in alpha order with the content facing out in all the same direction. Another idea would be to purchase the tubing that is used for storing/shipping artwork. This is a sturdy cardboard type material & would be much lighter. Make sure once again you label the side of the tubing w/the map content & in this case I would also label the plastic lid. In this manner the maps can be stored in a horizontal fashion alphabetically...taking up a different type of space based on the office layout. There are also "roll-abouts" or "caddies" that can be purchased rather inexpensively to store maps in the tubing in a vertical position. They hold about 15-21 maps depending on size. Check out your local Office chain store -- sometimes these caddies are also found in art departments too! Good luck! Much Aloha, Julie Signore -
