: I have been assigned to write a term paper on an issue at work that could be improved upon, save time, save money..etc. 
: I'm a nurse at a hospital.  We have 2 departments which we get supplies from - central services and purchasing.  It never fails when the unit or a doctor needs an item for a bedside procedure, we never know which dept. to call.  I am needing five resources on how to improve this situation.  Also, the personnel in those departments, have to physically walk the item to the unit and in a lot of cases, it's the wrong item.  If you have any resources I can look up or suggestions that you have, I would appreciate it.  I have several ideas, but can't find anything in writing to prove my point.
