Filing Emails

If you are like me with a home business, you probably get lots of emails. How do you keep them all straight? It is not uncommon for me to have 500 in my inbox before I just create a new inbox.

How do you filter out the files?
I have leads, ordered, information, personal, husbands, daughter, and many other files with subfiles and subfiles.

I need some suggestions on a better filing system.
