First of all the Palm Pilot comes in several different models. I would suggest you & hubby go to your local office store & have a *reputable* sales rep go thru all the functions & capabilities w/you first. From the features they tell you about ...jot down the ones you feel you would use. Then weigh out the features you would use ...with all the features offered. There is nothing more wasteful than purchasing the latest gizmo ...only to have it sit around & become a paper weight. You didn't mention what you & hubby do for a living so it's hard to say which is better for you. The idea of utilizing a planned successfully is finding the one that works for YOU! Even with all the various paper planners the selection is very different...I always recommend people REALY put a lot of time into investigating ALL the possibilities before making the investment. Personally I have been using a different brand for eons! As my business grew I decided that I needed to switch from the 5x8 to the 8x11...it suits my needs & that is why it works for *me* Recently I investigated a Palm Pilot myself...yet after going over the features with someone who was very knowledgeable in this regard -- I decided that my trusty ole planner was just fine! :) Hopefully you will hear from others that visit this BBS (or are lurking) :) who have a Palm & learn how it works for *them* !!
