Hello, I am an intern for a marketing company. I have been asked to develop and implement a filing systen for the company's documents. YOu can well imagine the amount of documents produced by a marketing company. Compounding the problem is the fact that the company is of medium size and sixty years old. There are documents from decades ago still stored in the same areas as active documents. Several different systems have apparently been used in the past and currently several systems are being used. Does that make sense? I wish to succeed in getting the 23 employees to coordinate there individual needs with the company needs. I have been working on this project for several months and have gotten as far as realizing that I need alot of help. I have made progress and my supervisor is very pleased with my efforts but I still have a long way to go. I often think that it may not be possible to coordinate individual and company needs given my low status in the organization. I would love any suggestions on how to focus my effort or suggestions on books and other resources avaliable. Is it even possible for me to accomplish my goal?
