Hello Terrie!

I am also disabled, having broken my back twice. I am not
confined to a wheelchair, however basic movement keeps me in
pain much of the time. I know how frustrating it is to put a
lot of effort into picking up after 2 girls (8 and 11) and then
find out I get to do it all over again!

Believe me, I am not a neatnik and actually came looking for
advice myself! However, I have mastered some of the basics with
the kids ... even if they don't use what I provide I have found it
immensely helpful!

I converted our hall closet into a storage closet with "cubbies".
The closet has about five shelves and each girl has two and the
last one is mine! Whenver I find their toys out of place it goes
into their cubby. Recently I discovered that this is a lot easier
with an organizer basket in the cubby so that everything does not
fall out onto me when I open the door.

Hope this one suggestion gives you a hand!

Naomi
