HELP-my daughter HOARDS everything!!!!

This is the 3rd time this year that my 8 year old & I are going head to head regarding her STUFF. I am in the middle of a full swing, take no prisioners, weekend clean-up of her room. We have found everything from hidden easter/valentine candy to 'stuff' from kindergarden!!! We have discussed many 'creative' ways on how to keep organized and she has come up with many of them on her own. The problem is three-fold; we are busy and don't stick to it on a regular basis, my parents NEVER come empty-handed(there has been wars over this), and she dosn't want to get rid of ANYTHING! She even insists on keeping every scrap paper she has ever doodled on. My file drawer can no longer accomodate her. I need help QUICKLY as I fear she and I will never find the bed tonight for her to sleep in!!! Please respond soon. Thank you, Deena
