I hear your challenge loud & clear!!! For starters you mentioned you store under the bed....are you using the Rubbermaid storage containers on wheels created for *under the bed storage* ??? It will make gathering your priceless resources much easier & less time consuming (label the contents of each tub) Call The Container Store: 800- 733-3532 & ask for *all* of their catalogs -- they do far more than closets & kitchens! There is a special catalog for students too. An item that comes to mind is their milk crates (special kind) they are colorful & they even have a collapsable model. Use a different color for different topics. Remember to go *up* so you can maximize your space. They also have a *grid system* for the walls. I'm sure the dorm powers that be don't give carte blanche to do bookshelves due to unsightly mares that are left at the end of the school year -- yet this system uses minimal screws which can be easily puttied up when the yr. is done. See if you can get it approved IF you are willing to patch any marks/holes made... With Holidays time approaching ask for The Container Store gift certicates instead of gifts ...& check out their Skandia systems -- they are the BEST!!!! Thes modules can be built & re-arranged as your needs change & grow. The wall systems add beauty to any area they are used in & will last you a Lifetime!!! Another resource is IKEA: 800-434-IKEA ...a true resource for any area you want to organize!!!! Hope something here helps!!
