Aussie PFO?

Any ideas of there are such "recognised" service association in Australia?
There are some freelancing people around, but I don't think I've heard of a 'governing body' or professional association here.

Anyway, my query is: what do I do, when my mother-in-law whom I dearly love, (and have no wish to upset) keeps insisting on giving me hand me down furniture, crockery etc etc, even though we've already got heaps from wedding pressies?!

I've got my own ideas as to the styles I like, and would like to start a fresh - but she keeps offloading all HER CLUTTER in our home!

PS: I'm also trying to get rid of some wedding pressies clutter - how do i do that without offending the people who gave these to us?
