Hi Susan, Start small. Develop a few little habits then move on to new ones. Example: 1. First thing each a.m., make the bed as you get up. 2. Tidy up bedroom (pick up clothes, etc.) as you walk to bathroom. 3. In bathroom, clean/put away stuff as you go. If something is dirty, grab a rag and wipe it down. 4. In Kitchen, make coffee/tea/chocolate whatever you like, but then do the dishes, wipe down counters when done. Once you get these little habits engrained in your daily life, then move on. This will at least help you feel less overwhelmed to begin with. Remember, it took a long time to get to this point, it won't be solved in a few hours. Best of luck KJ
