organizing bedrooms

My boyfriend just asked for my help in organizing his bedroom. He has the perfect bachelor setup going on now and it is going to need a lot of work. He basically uses two bedrooms for all his stuff. My dilemma? How in the world do you organize a bachelor's room? He basically puts his bed in one room and everything else in the other. So far every suggestion I have come up with has been shot down as being "girly". I would really like some suggestions on what methods to use. Thanks.
