I went thru a similiar situation 2 yrs ago Dorothy. When my sister & I went to FL. to handle clearing my Moms estate...we grouped pictures for each of the family members & mailed them to each of them. In this manner when we had duplicates...we sorted them into piles for each of the kids or grand kids. When it came to the ones we did not know ...we at least knew they were some of my Mom's friends from church -- so we gave additional photos to those friends, as well as her pastor (to help us out) When we were totally *stuck* we did have to let them go. We even went so far as to split all the un-developed film we found as well (about 16 rolls) Alot of them made no sense to us -- or were so old the developing was poor quality. Sometimes you just need to "let go" & trust that all the ones that were distributed -- you were *guided* to do so. Remember, it's qulaity ...not quantity ...& mostly remember your Mom lives on in your heart -- THAT is where the fondest of memories will always remain! May you find the strength to finish this project & may the Great Spirit bless you along the way.... Much Aloha, Julie Signore -
