Hello Julie!
I have cleaned my closet and am no longer hanging on to sizes I will never fit into again as well as outdated styles and poor color choices.
I currently organize by putting all blouses, skirts, pants, dresses and structure pieces together and further by keeping all colors grouped together, all whites grouped together, all pinks, blues etc.
I now need to look at each item to see if it is carrying it's own 'weight', it may be the right size, color style, etc, but if I never wear it, it needs to go too.
I have been using a hanging shoe bag to keep my nylons in, but I am thinking about putting my shoes there and using ziplock bags for the nylons.
scarves are on a scarf hanger and belts are on a belt hanger.
I am clearing shelves that have kept shoes and will place t-shirts, jeans, sweatshirts etc.
I have shelf space between to hanging rods, one rod above the other, making the shelf fairly useless.

I still am not feeling quite orgazined with my closet, perhaps from the 'clutter' of old things in baskets that has yet to be parted with.
Do you have any other organizing tips or ideas that work well for a clothes closet?
Is there anything that I seem to be missing with what I've already done?

Thanks for your help.
Linda
