Aloha Amy...

First of all maintaining 2 calendars is often too challenging for most people for the exact reasons you have stated. If you look into the Palm Pilot I believe you will find a great solution!

Palm Pilots are not necessary for everyone first of all. Actually, my hubby & I both have our own businesses & neither one of us can really justify the need for one because of the systems we have in place for booking consultations. I do maintain a wall calendar w/birthdays, anniversaries etc... & I also manage to jot down the name/town & time on this calendar for my Client consultations. This is more for him than me -- so he gets an idea of when I will be home. I travel w/a full size Day Runner & that is truly all I need.

Yet because you are out in the field making appointmentsa Palm could come in quite handy, especially if you are challenged with updating your computer scheduler. When you get home all you have to do is attach the Palm to your computer & download your new schedule -- no more double entries! :)

Amy, many people often get by with just the Palm as well. Is there a *major* reason why you *need* your schedule in 2 places to begin with? Feel free to elaborate on your response. :)

Hope this has helped !

Much Aloha,
