Hmmmm, here in Hawai'i...I normally recommend my clients *hang* T-shirts in the closet! After all, we are a T-shirt state! Actually, if you are blessed w/an abundance of closet space it's a great idea -- no matter WHERE you live. It's just easier for us --because we don't have to contend w/the wealth of winter clothes ...besides some sweats & a few sweaters :) K...with that said ...the folding style needs to compliment the space it will be stored in as well as the amopunt of T's to be stored! If you are blessed w/tons of drawers or a closet system that has an abundance of shelf or pullout drawer space ...then I would use the 1/4 method....if not I would use the 1/8 method. Start by shaking the T at the shoulders. Fold in 1/2 from left to right. Tuck the sleeve area downward at an angle. Fold again from top to bottom so you have 1/4 of the T-shirt showing. Now if the T-shirt has a logo of sorts ...(normally on the left side) ... make sure it shows when placing the T in the drawer. (fold them all in the SAME direction). You can stop here if you have oodles of drawer space! :) Lay them side by side in orderly stacks. The normal drawer will only allow for 2 stacks in this type of fold. If you are not blessed w/tons of space...fold the T-shirt from top to bottom once again (the logo on the left side still ought to be showing). Place the in T's (3) stacks neatly in the drawer. Hope this helps Dave! And GREAT question!!! You would be surprised to know that when I do a *home organizing workshop* FOLDING is a top question!! And it needs to be considered when *maximizing* one's space! Happy folding!
