Hmmmm...sounds like the *fastest* way to handle this is to find a different box or use a packing paper to wrap them & tape them securely....

Maybe it would be best to contact the company directly & ask them to walk you through it...yet if my memory serves me correctly -- remove the top piece. That ought to get you going in the right direction.
