I hope you can give me some useful advise on where to start in sorting out items of the house. Basically everything's gotta go -either a garage/estate sale or goodwill.
We've got a complete liveable house here we need to tear it apart in about 6-7 months and the only first step I've come up with is to throw out all the old housepaint and used motor oil.
Dear god what a task we have before us.
Furniture, 2 automobiles, an upright piano and personal belongings.
Actually now that I've typed it out it doesn't seem all that bad.
I'll be moving into a small apartment and will take some of the items-kitchen table, microwave, one TV and the VCR, stereosystem, my bedroom set, etc.
My father I have tasked with geting rid of his computer room stuff, enough ham radio gear to support WWIII.
I'm just worried where to start, I suppose I should start with just plain garbage or start in one room and move on to the next.
We've got studded truck tires, automotive thingies, 4 TV sets, 3 computer printers, etc. The basement looks like a war zone from me trying to collectivly put items down there to make the upstais look a little more empty. (Well at least it's closer to the driveway)
Is there a "LIST", the practical list of how to get orginized and where to start?
I'll have help from some family members I'm sure when they feel like it, but I wanted to give them a list and have them take what they want before someone else get's it. (just kind of shove it in their face and say here's your date, get what you want)
I sincerely appreciate any assistfull advise you can render me on clearing the home to make way for the "house".
Thank You.
