I store my sweaters in those plastic bags. They might not really be plastic,

then since I live in a very dry climate I add a damp paper towel in a
small ziptop bag. This keeps the wool or yarn from getting brittle and breaking.
I close the bag but poke a few holes in it with a straight pin.
You, how ever could put a dry paper towel in and it would soak up some of the moisture.
